Text message consent
Effective September 7, 2026
What text messages FindMe sends, who receives them, and how to stop them. Agreeing to texts is optional — you can use FindMe fully without it.
1. Who Sends the Messages
Text messages are sent by FindMe (Saver Services + Administration, LLC, a Puerto Rico limited liability company doing business as FindMe Board), the operator of the FindMe platform.
2. How You Opt In
By ticking an unchecked box during sign-up. It is separate from accepting the Terms of Use and acknowledging the Privacy Policy, which are their own checkbox — declining texts is not declining the agreement, and stopping texts later does not withdraw it.
The box is never pre-ticked, and the sign-up form submits whether or not you tick it. Below is each box exactly as it appears, unchecked, on the form named beside it.
Homeowners

Service professionals
Shown on the pro application form, on the step that collects your mobile number:
Service professionals see a second, separate box for job alerts (see section 3). It is also optional and unchecked, and it is independent of the box above: agreeing to account texts does not sign you up for job alerts, and declining job alerts changes nothing else. Without it, new job requests still reach you by email.
Service professionals — job alerts

Opting in later
If you did not tick a box at sign-up, you can turn texts on later: homeowners on their profile page, and service professionals in the Settings panel of their dashboard, where account texts and job alerts are two separate checkboxes with the same wording as above. Turning either on sends a one-time code to your phone, and the texts start only once you enter it, so they always go to a phone you have shown is yours.
3. What the Messages Are About
Account and job-related messages
Confirmations, updates on a job you posted or accepted, appointment changes, replies from the other party to a job, and notices about your account.
Job alerts (service professionals only)
Only if you ticked the job-alert box: new job requests that match your trade and service area, including urgent requests, a reminder before your time to respond to a request runs out (sent only while that request is still open to you), and a weekly reminder while you have paused new job requests. Job alerts come from a separate FindMe number.
FindMe does not sell or share your phone number, or your consent to receive texts, with anyone for their own marketing.
4. Message Frequency and Cost
Message frequency varies — it depends on how much activity there is on your jobs, and there is no fixed number per week or month. Message and data rates may apply, charged by your mobile carrier and not by FindMe. FindMe does not charge you for text messages.
5. How to Stop Them
Reply STOP to any FindMe message, from either FindMe number, to stop all FindMe texts — account messages and job alerts alike. Reply HELP for help.
To turn texts back on, reply START to the number whose texts you want again: it restores only the messages that number sends, and only if you had agreed to them before. You can also turn each kind of text on or off separately in your settings.
Stopping texts does not close your account, cancel a job, or end a pro membership, and it does not withdraw your acceptance of the Terms of Use. FindMe continues to reach you by email, so you keep receiving the same notices through that channel.
6. Verification Codes Are Separate
The one-time code sent when you verify your phone number at sign-up is not part of this consent and is not affected by it. It is a one-off security message sent through a separate verification service, and it is sent whether or not you agree to receive other texts — you cannot verify a phone number without it.
7. Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and your device.
8. Questions
